Midlands Style Hedgelaying
This hedge was laid in Northamptonshire under a grant scheme in the Midlands style. The stakes and binders used were willow which were sourced and coppiced locally to the job.
This hedge will go on to thrive for years to come after the rejuvenation of laying it.
This has created a more diverse and healthy eco system for all types of wildlife.
Stock Fencing For Sheep
This was provided for sheep, using Tornado R07958498306 netting and a top line of high tensile plain wire. Using 2 creosote strainers on the end assembly, maximises the longevity of the post in the ground.
The strut is morticed in both ends to create a water tight join. On the strut wire, we use a ratchet as its very effective and quick to adjust. This also gives you the option to tighten in the future should you need to. Any cuts made to the tanalised timber are retreated with creosote and planed beforehand to help shed water.
